I'm so excited to meet you and welcome you into the studio.  The KimArtistry Experience starts with a thorough consultation. Your hair history, your expectations, and my expertise will be the foundation of how we create a long term plan for your hair care.

Color and chemical services will begin with a 2 year color and chemical history.  This information is pertinent as it will allow me to make the best educated decision for your color and/or chemical service.

FAQ's

~What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash and all credit cards are accepted.

~What is your cancellation policy?

Appointments with less than 24 hours notice of cancellation will incur a fee of 50% of the scheduled service before booking any future appointments.

~How do I schedule an appointment?

You may schedule an appointment by clicking the "Book Now" button on the homepage.

 

~I'm not sure which service to book?

​Each service has a description listed. Once you've selected a service, you will be prompted to select "add ons" (trims, treatments, etc.) to complement or complete your appointment. If you are still unsure, please call the salon at 317-740-9446 before scheduling.

 

~Is a consultation mandatory for new clients?

Consultations are required for color and extension services. They are strongly suggested for general hair care services but not required.

~How far in advance can I schedule an appointment?

You can schedule an appointment 6 weeks out.

 

~The date that I would like to book is not showing as available. Is the system wrong? Can I be squeezed in?

Vagaro is accurate and if a date or time is showing unavailable, it isn't available. I do not do squeeze ins.

 

~If my desired date and time is not available, do you have a waitlist?

Yes, you may add your name to the waitlist on the booking website. Simply choose the date and timeframe, add your name and desired service, and the system will notify you if that time becomes available.

~Do you accept walk ins or same day appointments?

I generally do not have the availability for same day or walk in appointments.

​

~Do you service children?

I do not service clients under the age of 16.

​

~Is a shampoo included with my service?

A shampoo and conditioner is included with all services.

 

~How should my hair be prepared for my appointment?

Hair should be combed through, and any braids, twists, etc. should be removed prior to your appointment.

~May I bring someone with me to my appointment?

Due to the limited studio space, only guests who are being serviced are allowed in the salon.

​

~How do I contact you if I have questions or need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?

Appointments can be rescheduled/canceled (before the cancellation deadline) on the booking website. Any other questions or concerns can be answered by calling the salon during business hours. The salon phone number is: 317-740-9446.
